Terms & Conditions
This Terms and Conditions document is designed to protect Dent Dr NY by outlining the scope of work, payment expectations, and liability limitations.
Terms and Conditions of Service
1. Scope of Work
Dent Dr NY specializes in Paintless Dent Removal (PDR). Our services are intended to repair dents and dings while preserving the vehicle’s original factory paint. We do not provide traditional bodywork involving sanding, grinding, or painting unless explicitly stated in a custom service agreement.
2. Estimates and Pricing
-
Visual Inspections: Estimates provided via photo or video are preliminary. Final pricing is subject to an in-person inspection where the depth and accessibility of the dent can be fully assessed.
-
Variable Factors: Final costs may vary based on metal type (e.g., aluminum vs. steel) and the necessity of removing interior panels to access the damage.
3. Customer Responsibilities
-
Vehicle Access: For mobile services, customers must provide a safe, legal, and adequately lit workspace (such as a driveway or garage).
-
Condition Disclosure: Customers must disclose any previous repairs, “bondo” usage, or ceramic coatings on the area to be repaired.
4. Risk and Liability
While PDR is the safest method of dent repair, the customer acknowledges the following:
-
Paint Integrity: If the paint is already stressed or cracked, or if the vehicle has been previously repainted, there is a minor risk of paint flaking during the “massage” process. Dent Dr NY is not liable for paint failure on non-factory finishes.
-
Hidden Damage: We are not responsible for pre-existing mechanical or electrical issues located behind the damaged panel.
5. Payment and Cancellations
-
Payment: Full payment is due upon completion of the repair. We accept [Insert Payment Methods, e.g., Cash, Credit, Venmo].
-
Cancellations: We request at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling of mobile appointments.
6. Satisfaction Guarantee
We pride ourselves on excellence. If a dent cannot be improved to the standard discussed during the estimate, the technician will discuss options with you prior to completing the work. Once the customer approves and pays for the repair, the service is considered final.
